Our Refund Policy

1. Purpose

This Refund Policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for refunds at Cododa. We are committed to fair dealing and high-quality service. However, we recognize that there may be situations where a refund is warranted. This policy aims to clarify when and how refunds are processed.

2. Project Deposits and Upfront Payments

  • Non-refundable Deposits: Initial project deposits or booking fees (typically 25-50% of the total project cost) are generally non-refundable as they secure our resources for your project.
  • Project Cancellation by Client: If you cancel a project after work has commenced but before completion:
    • Cancellation within 48 hours of project commencement: 70% of the paid amount may be refunded.
    • Cancellation after 48 hours but within the first week: 50% of the paid amount may be refunded.
    • Cancellation after one week: Refunds will be assessed based on the percentage of work completed and resources allocated.

3. Completed Projects

For completed projects, refunds are generally not provided. However, we are committed to client satisfaction and will address any concerns as follows:

  • Defects or Errors: If the deliverables contain significant defects or errors that were not addressed during the review phases, we will prioritize fixing these issues at no additional cost.
  • Non-Compliance with Requirements: If the final deliverables substantially fail to meet the agreed-upon specifications, we will either:
    • Rectify the issues to meet the original specifications, or
    • Provide a partial refund proportional to the aspects of the project that failed to meet requirements.

4. Subscription-based Services

For subscription or maintenance services, including our mobile app subscriptions:

  • Mobile App Subscriptions:
    • For monthly subscriptions through our mobile application, you may cancel at any time through your account settings in the app, the Google Play Store, or by contacting our customer service. No refunds are provided for the current billing period.
    • Free trial periods (if applicable) automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial period ends.
    • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Monthly subscriptions may be canceled at any time, but refunds are not provided for the current billing month.
  • Annual subscriptions paid in advance may be eligible for a prorated refund of unused months, less applicable service fees.
  • Refund requests for subscription services must be made in writing to info@cododa.com.

5. Training and Consultation Services

  • Cancellation with more than 48 hours notice: Full refund or rescheduling without penalty.
  • Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice: No refund, but we may offer rescheduling options at our discretion.
  • If you are dissatisfied with a training session or consultation, please contact us within 24 hours of the service delivery to discuss potential partial refunds or complimentary follow-up sessions.

6. Refund Process and Timelines

  • All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@cododa.com.
  • Please include your order number, date of purchase, and reason for requesting a refund.
  • Refund requests will be reviewed within 5 business days.
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days.
  • Once Refund is approved your amount will be credited within 5 to 7 business day to the original payment method.
  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method when possible.

7. Exceptions

We reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis, at our sole discretion. Factors considered include client history, nature of the project, and specific circumstances surrounding the refund request.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. We encourage clients to check this page periodically for any changes.
